He no longer writes songs relying heavily on the piano. His last album that fit all of the above was I’m Alive, released in 1993. Am I the only Jackson Browne fan this disappointed? His new album, Time Conquerer, is a good album, but Jackson just isn’t Jackson without his piano-based love and relationships songs. It’s all politics with him, it seems, in his songs. Has he lost the part of him that allowed him to create some of the most moving emotional songs about love and relationships one will ever find?
